Guangzhou University of TCM

Guangzhou University of TCM was founded in 1956. It is one of the first universities founded in New China. The university accepted and passed the assessment of the expert group from Ministry of Education for teaching level of undergraduate course in 2002; the"9 5" and "211 project" construction programs passed the examination of the expert group from Guangdong People's Government and State Administration of Republic of China with an excellent conclusion in 2003.In 2004 it was listed into the "211 project". Guangzhou University of TCM owns clinical base of TCM and Chinese materia medica etc. state important subjects, and its basic research of Chinese herb and research of project technology & application of Chinese herb modernization ranked in the first position among the universities of TCM in China.
