        Guangdong Newsouth Artepharm Co., Ltd., supported by Fengshun County Government and leaders at all levels, is jointly established by Guangdong New South Group, Guangzhou University of TCM and Prof. Li Guoqiao, who is a famous international malaria specilist and one of inventors of Artemisinin. It covers 300 acres and plans to invest 310 million Yuan. Its projects inlude Research Center for Artemisia Annua L, Artemisinin Extraction Factory, Raw Materials Extraction Factory, Chinese medicine Pieces Pharmaceutical Factory. The base will be a national priority projects integrated with scientific research, cultivation, production, sales conforming to GMP stand and EU certification  standard, building  GMP standard "Chinese Medicine Raw Materials Extraction Factory, Piperaquine Raw Materials Factory and Modern Pharmaceutical Factory (Finished products factory) and  the three main factories' necessary facilities; and intends to set up its head office into Fengshun, who owned leading position in the world of artemisinin antimalarials for the development of new antimalarial technology products.  After completion of the company, it will be achieved 600 million yuan in sales revenue, and annual tax over 4,000 million.
